Horse Eye in Pastels

Horse Eye Study in Pastels
6 x 6 pastels on sanded paper
Carole Rodrigue ©2017

It's been so long since I painted a horse that I was just itching to work on a horse eye study in pastels. Did you know I used to paint mostly horses?  Yep. I was even in the old Equine Art Guild and the Guild of International Equine Artists years ago.  I also worked on this mural . . .  Check me out and my contribution under the artists' list. :-D

Anyway, all that just to say that I miss painting horses and will paint more in the future.

While I was painting this, I recorded the whole process non-stop and uploaded to YouTube and my Facebook in a speed painting video.  I also wrote out short blurbs explaining my process.  I hope you give it a look and enjoy!  Also, I invite you to please go LIKE my Facebook page and subscribe to my YouTube channel so you never miss anything!  I have neglected to post on my blog in the past, so do not miss out!

Thanks for watching.  And reading.  ;-)

In case you missed it . . .
